In 1864, the Duc the Morny, Nepoleon III's half brother, founded a railway worker society in a superb hotel, only a small distance from the Opera House. At the heart of the business and shopping district, it is here that would become the Circla Hausmann at the start of the 20th century, in honour of the baron who redesigned and modernised Paris. The association 'Cercle Hausmann' has been able to take care of its management, as well as bring it comfort and modernity, yet preserve its oiginal style.
